221B con pros

I'm thinking of attending the 221B con this year, and it would be my first time at a fan convention. Are there any Sherlockian veterans here willing to offer advice? Looking at the program, I'm surprised by how many non-SH media are represented (Good Omens?? not that I don't enjoy it) and by the heavy focus on the BBC adaptation.

"Signs for the Distant and Disconsolate Heart" is one of my favorites; it brings the Britten/Pears relationship and a windy day by the sea into a beautifully introspective BBC fic. "Our Ships Painted Red" is a hallucinatory, Homeric delight.
